COMMISSION LISTThis is a new comic I've made. The main inspiration was the trailer Square-Enix made for Kingdom Hearts 3. One of the major reveals was the world of Frozen, where we can see Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf.
Frozen is kinda like the pineapple pizza of the Disney movies. It doesn't have anything bad, but people love to bash it. And, as a huge fan of the movie as well as a huge Disney fan, it's kinda interesting to see some of its reactions.
Let me clarify that the purpose of the comic is not focusing on the people who didn't like the movie. I think it's ok to say "nah, it's nothing special", I'm totally cool with that. I only want to focus on the people who pasisonately hate the movie to the point they make Buzzfeed lists/articles, fanclubs or intense rant videos where they finish with a "I hope you like it, please share it on Facebook
".I think it's kinda interesting and even fascinating how accepted it is to everyone to say that "Frozen is the worst Disney movie ever" or "the most overrated movie of all time", especially when you compare it to other mainstream films, especially the animated media such as the Illumination Entertainment films or the Blue Sky films. The 2015 Snoopy film was a welcomed exception and Illumination Entertainment... nah, they don't have anything decent.
It's a weird time to say you love Frozen, but the mash-up reaction of the Kingdom Hearts 3 I've watched in Youtube gives me hope that they still have fans.
About this comic, I wanted to focus on Spike and Sweetie Belle, mainly because I wanted her to be the hardcore gamer and I wanted him to be the Kingdom Hearts fan. The biggest problem to me was Spike's nose in the second last panel. At first it was too big and so weird, so I wanted to change it in the future. The occlusion was also fun to do.
By the way, I don't want to give these webs traffic. They don't deserve it. I can understand the people who didn't like Frozen, but you don't have to be that agressive or intense just because "it's cool" or "accepted" or "mainstream". Just sayin'.
Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, I've started to play the first game (then I'll go on with the rest of the franchise). Man, the jumping system is really dated and imprecise. And the platforms don't help. It's a pity, because the game has a very cool soundtrack, a nice art design of the Disney elements (characters and worlds) and a good combat system.
Still, I can't believe I stopped playing Shadow of the Colossus for this franchise.

I don't really care about the people that hate "Frozen" yet I do agree its world won't be as funny as other ones can be. It will probably be one of the more serious ones. Especially with its connection to the "New Princesses of Light".
